Caban Crwn

The cylindrical Caban Crwn (Crwn means round in Welsh) packs a surprising amount in to its curved walls. As you enter, a ladder to your side leads up to the mezzanine bed and the lounge area (with the daybed single) is off to your left.

The compact flushing loo and shower unit are through the hidden door in front of you. The decor is colourful and light, aided by the big windows. Outside you can set the fire pit or relax on the deck after a hard day on the miles of bike trails that criss-cross the valley, or plot a trek to the pubs in Machynlleth after a lazy afternoon.

It was absolutely perfect. What a beautiful cabin in the most beautiful setting. Peace, quiet, superb views and everything we needed. Loved it!

This cabin is much more spacious than it looks from the outside. The views are stunning. Being able to sit with a cup of tea in bed and watch the sunrise is beautiful. We were able to easily join the trails in the area from the farm. Everything was provided for you, including all your fire wood.

A cosy and quiet retreat from busy life, our stay was the perfect way to switch off and enjoy being in nature, despite the cold March temperatures! We based ourselves here to explore great walks around Snowdon and Beddgelert which were just over an hours drive away. The cabin is located in a large field with several other cabins, but they are positioned in a way that each cabin feels secluded. The only source of heating is a wood burning stove, which kept the cabin very warm, even when it was snowing outside! There were games, cards and books in the cabin which was lovely, and we spent hours playing card games by the fire. The cabin had all the cooking equipment needed, towels, bedding etc. It is worth bearing in mind that there are no plug sockets in the cabin. However, there is a solar charging point for USB cables which works to charge phones etc. It is a good excuse not to bring laptops/electricals! Check in was very easy,. The host was communicative and let us check in early when our plans changed.
